Anniversary masses and special intentions
We are always happy to celebrate masses for the intentions of your departed loved ones, and also for relatives and friends in need of a special intention. This may also include yourself. Ideally, you should give at least 2 weeks notice to allow the name to appear twice in the parish newsletter.
Please fill in the simple form below to allow the priest to enter it in the cloud calendar. A donation is optional but most welcome: thank you. You will be contacted by email or phone to confirm the mass within 3-4 working days at most.
If you know of people who do not use the internet, you can tell then the following please for booking a mass.
1.You should give at least 2 weeks notice to allow the name to appear twice in the parish newsletter.
2. Write a letter to the parish office at any time with your phone number and contact name. The priest will ring you back during the below times.
3. Phone call or call in-person to the parish office on Tuesdays and Thursdays only from 10:00-12:00.
These three ways of booking an anniversary mass, Form below, letter or phone call, allow the names of the deceased remembered to be entered on the parish cloud calendar in addition to the parish diary. After Sunday masses is not the ideal time to book a mass.0
At the request of the Diocese of Galway, the 11:30am Sunday mass is for the intentions of the parishioners. No other intentions are allowed, except Month’s Mind masses and 1st Anniversary masses. This is a diocesan decision, not the parish priest’s.
Thank you
